We value your time and do our best to stay on schedule for all patients. Each appointment is booked for a specific time slot to ensure everyone receives the care they need. Please note that additional charges will apply if your appointment runs beyond the scheduled time.

All appointments booked online, aside from acupuncture and B12 shots, may be booked as in-person consults OR phone/virtual consults. Please EMAIL Katie at info@ahimsanaturopathic.com with your preferred phone number if you’d like a Phone Consult or to indicate you’d prefer a virtual consult, otherwise, we’ll assume you are coming to the office.

Dr. Katie Weststrate, ND RYT, MScCH, ND

Katie is a Naturopathic Doctor; part-time speaker, yoga teacher and retreat facilitator. Most importantly, she is a Mom to two rambunctious kiddos and a flock of other animals. She owns Healthily Ever After, Merrickville’s Health and Local Foods Store, which is co-located with her clinic, Ahimsa Naturopathic

Katie completed her Undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Guelph, her MSc in Community Health, Addictions and Mental Health at the University of Toronto and her Naturopathic training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.

As a ND, Katie resonates strongly with the World Health Organization’s definition of health as a ‘state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease’. She has profound belief in the ability of education and awareness to motivate and empower change and is passionate about inspiring health and wellness in others.
